Dear All Stakeholders
We are now nearly at the end of September, and we have been carefully monitoring the cases of Covid in school and in the community. You will be aware that a small number of children tested positive for Covid-19 last week, and the leadership team have updated the school risk assessment and outbreak management plans.
You will see from these plans that we are taking a very cautious approach to the management of Covid, and the resulting staff absences. I am mindful that many of our pupils are medically vulnerable, and we need to ensure that school is as safe as it can be.
Please take a few minutes to read the risk assessments and outbreak management plan. Please could I draw your attention to Page 4 of the outbreak management plan, which will enable you to clearly see our graded responses to any further outbreaks of the virus.
In the event that classes or pupils are well, but need to move to remote learning due to an outbreak, the class teacher will be in touch to arrange remote learning sessions as quickly as possible.
Please be assured that we will do everything possible to keep all classes safe and open to all pupils, whilst ensuring that the school is as Covid secure as possible to protect our children and staff.
Thank you for your ongoing support.
Yours sincerely,
Laura Clarke
Headteacher
