Rowan Gate is a four site school with sites at Finedon Road, Wellingborough, Hayway in Rushden, Tennyson Road site, Highfield Road in Rushden and Church Lane, Wilby. Wilby being the latest to open in November 2024.
Having three schools and satellite classes allows pupils to attend a school close to or within the area in which they live.
We are a nurturing school, providing support to pupils who have learning difficulties as well as social, emotional and mental health difficulties. We have a Family Liaison team who offer support and advice to parents.
Therapies are important to our school and our pupils. We work in conjuction with other professionals in the NHS to meet our pupils needs. We buy in therapies such as music therapy, play therapy and educational psychology support to address educational difficulties and behavioural needs. We also have staff trained to offer drawing and talking therapies and have occupational therapy sensory cirucuits available to support pupils with sensory needs and enable our pupils to meet their full potential.
Rowan Gate Primary School has a non smoking / non vaping policy. We insist that all staff and visitors smoke or vape off site and we are grateful for your co-operation.
