ASC Primary KS1 and KS2

PLEASE NOTE this course is NOT suitable for children who are educated in KS1 or KS2 but are developmentally working within the Early Years Foundation Stage.

Course Aims: 

• To gain an understanding of Autistic Spectrum Condition 
• To develop an understanding of how to use visual structure, visuals in the environment and visual schedules to enhance the environment and routines in the KS1 and KS2 classrooms 
• To gain an understanding of effective practice when providing workstation systems 
• To understand the importance of visuals and effective ways to support communication 
• To explore interventions and strategies that support children with difficulties related to AS
