The School has three important Councils which give the pupils a voice:
The School Council is made up of Year 5/ 6 pupils.
The Class Councils representatives are voted for by their peers and are supported at meetings by a member of class staff, where necessary. The class council feeds views and decisions to the School Council.
An Anti bullying Committee consisting of pupils, a parent and a governor representative.
The School Council, the Class Council and the Anti bullying committee meet once every 4 weeks.
The School Council gets involved in all aspects of school life – they consider agenda items such as the school building, the curriculum, recruitment of staff, attending community events and school fund raising.
