Subject: Thank you from WellChild
Firstly, I would like to say a huge thank you for taking part in this year’s WellChild singing competition. The judges have now made their decision, and it is with regret that I have to inform you that Rowan Gate was not successful this year.
I am so sorry that you were not successful this time, but I cannot stress enough how difficult the decision was for the judges to make. Each of our top 10 schools were such worthy candidates and it was with much deliberation that the judges came to their final decision.
I would like to take this opportunity to not only thank you for coordinating the choir and making it happen, but your students who have worked so hard. The judges couldn’t have been more complimentary of the enthusiasm and confidence shown by the students in your choir. Here are just a few comments made by our judges about your performance, “made me smile!” and “wonderful energy”. Your students should be incredibly proud of themselves for reaching our top 10.
Thanks too for your amazing fundraising efforts over the past few months. It has been wonderful to see the dedication and support each school has received from parents, staff and students. The impact this will make to WellChild and the families we support is massive. Over the rainbow has raised an incredible £7,769 so thank you for playing your part in this. Your donations will change lives; take a look at one of our most recent garden transformations for seven year old Oscar here.
The winner will be announced tomorrow afternoon, and I hope you’ll join me in congratulating them. I will try to phone you over the next week to personally thank you for your support.
Over the rainbow will be back in January 2018 with a new song and we would absolutely love for your school to take part again! As I said, the judges were hugely impressed with your entry, and we would be delighted if you enter again next year.
With the warmest thanks and best wishes,
Schools Adventure Coordinator
