The Inner Wheel Club Wellingborough Hatton supports Rowan Gate

On 11 November, we were delighted to be visited by Mrs Serena Handcock (Immediate Past President of The Inner Wheel Club of Wellingborough Hatton) and colleagues, including Mrs Bernie Berkitt (the current President).

The purpose of the visit was to present to the school the wonderful musical equipment that Mrs Handcock had purchased with the funds raised during her year as president, with the help of her Inner wheel colleagues.  The Ladies held various fundraising events over the year to raise the fantastic sum of £1,300.  We were happy that they had decided to support the school by providing exciting musical equipment for the Key Stage 1 playground at Wellingborough.

We would like to express our thanks to Mrs Serena Handcock and the Ladies of  Wellingborough Hatton Club for all their support.

Below are photographs of the children at the presentation, having fun and playing with the equipment.

Children in Need Mufti – Friday 18 November

We will be taking part in this year’s Children In Need on Friday 18th November and pupils are invited to wear spots or mufti.

BBC Children in Need is the BBC’s UK corporate charity. Thanks to the support of the public, they are able to make a real difference to the lives of children all across the UK.

We would like everyone to take part so please send your child into school on the day wearing spots or mufti and with a £1 voluntary donation.

Thank you for your support.
